LancesLeft in Sumatra (Mentawi Islands) is an exposed reef break that has consistent surf. May-Oct (Dry Season) is the optimum time of year for waves. Offshore winds blow from the north northwest. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. There is a right hand reef break. Take care to avoid the rocks.
