Evatra in Antanosy is an exposed reef/Rivermouth break that has consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. There is a left hand reef break. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of rips and rocks.
