El Tizate in Nayarit is a sheltered beach break that does not work very often. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the east. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the northwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Take care of urchins, rips, rocks and locals.
