El Murcielago in Manabi is an exposed beach break that has very consistent waves. Spring and Summer provide the optimum conditions. Ideal winds are from the southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Beware of rocks and sharks.
