El Charco in Tenerife is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the optimum times of year for waves. Offshore winds blow from the south. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest.. Best around high tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Crowds may reach hazard levels at this break - consider wearing a lid.
