Chicala in Luanda is a fairly exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the east northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of Pollution and sharks.
