Cap Ferret in Acquitaine is an exposed beach break that usually has waves, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Ideal winds are from the east. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for dangerous rips.
