Cane Garden Bay in Tortola is a sheltered point break. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the east with some shelter here from east northeast winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the north. Sometimes crowded. Beware of rocks,reef,urchins,jellyfish and sharks.
