Black Rocks Jetty in West Reunion is an exposed reef break that is usually a safe bet. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. A right hand reef break. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Take care of urchins, rocks and sharks.
